Thanks for expressing interest in one of our upcoming litters. We have created this page to outline our process for placing our puppies in the hopes that it can provide some clarity for those who are interested in bringing a Waldgeist Deutsch-Drahthaar home.

We ask that all potential new owners complete our Owner Application linked below. This form allows us to learn more about you and what you are seeking in a new hunting partner. Once we have reviewed your application, we will reach out to set up some time to chat. Our goal is to place each of our puppies in homes that are good matches for them. By getting to know our potential puppy buyers prior to accepting a deposit, we can ensure the best fit for all. 

If we determine that you are a good match for a Waldgeist Deutsch-Drahthaar and you would still like to move forward, we ask that each new owner put down a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve their spot in the upcoming litter. This deposit will go toward the full purchase price of your puppy and spots are reserved when the deposit is received. In the event that a breeding does not take or puppies of your desired gender are not available, your deposit will be returned to you.
